Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Cream Review and Swatches

hey beauties...Being a lipstick addict I always get gravitated to try out new lip colours. Among all liquid lipsticks I own, I love Nyx Soft Matte Lip Creams. I always wanted to try out the Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Creams which are considered the closest dupe to the Nyx Lip Creams but quite an affordable version.
Recently when Miss Claire was launched at Nykaa.com, I immediately ordered few of the Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Creams. So let's find out more about these beauties.

 PACKAGING, PRICE and AVAILABILITY

• The packaging does remind me of the Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream. The Lip Cream comes in a transparent tube with the shade number on the base.
• A doe-foot applicator is attached to the cap, which picks the right amount of product and helps to apply the lip cream smoothly on the lips

58 : A beautiful brownish-nude shade. Perfect for everyday wear.

35: A lovely Carrot-red shade. Perfect for day time glam look

45 : A red with pink undertones. Kind of a bold rosy shade. A lovely shade for ethnic day. 

52: A gorgeous Violet-pink shade. Wear this shade with just a winged eye-liner and mascara. It can glamorise your look instantly.

VERDICT

• A wide range of shades for all. 
• Smooth application. Doesn't settle on the fine lines on my lips.
• Creamy texture and feels very light on lips.
• Sleek packaging makes it travel-friendly.
• Very pigmented.
• Has a beautiful Matte finish.
• Affordable.
• The stay-on power is very good. It stays for a good 5hrs with food and drinks.
• The only con for me is sometimes (emphasising "sometimes" )I find it a bit drying if I don't moisturise my lips properly prior to its application

 Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Creams are a hit for me cause you get high-end quality product at such affordable price.

• Its sleek packaging makes it travel-friendly. 
• It comes with a doe foot sponge applicator which makes the application quite easy and    hassle-free

TEXTURE and SHADE

• The Colorbar Deep Matte Lip Creme has a buttery texture. It is rich and creamy and glides on your lips like a dream.
• Its not drying at all.
• It has a semi matte finish. It feels quite moisturising and hydrating on lips unlike most of the matte lipcolors.
• The pigmentation is awesome. Just one swipe and its enough for your lips.
• Now coming to the shade. DEEP COCO is the darkest shade from this range. Chocolate mousse is what it looks like. A brown shade which perfectly suits all skin tones.

VERDICT

• Buttery texture makes it easy to apply
• semi matte finish. Any how if you want to make it more matte you can blot it and apply some loose powder
• Moisturising and hydrating on lips
• Its not transfer proof. So need to reapply after meal

Wet 'n' Wild Mega Last Matte Lipstick in SPOTLIGHT RED Swatch

When I go out for makeup shopping, then 99.99% chances are there that I pick a Lipstick. I always say this and I am not ashamed to say it again and aloud "I AM A LIPSTICK ADDICT". Generally when people get confused what shade of lipstick to pick, they usually pick a NUDE shade. But I pick a RED.

Today's post is a swatch post for Wet 'n' Wild Mega Last Matte Lipstick in SPOTLIGHT RED

Its a pretty Cherry Red shade with Blue undertones. Shades like this glamorise your entire look (and makes your teeth look whiter sssshhhhhh). Its smooth to apply and gives Matte finish. It gives the classic old hollywood charm to your look. 

It's a HIT for me. RED and that too a MATTE RED !!! Need I say more *wink*

Nyx Soft Matte Lipcream in AMSTERDAM Review

I have been into Bright lipstick these days. And my second obsession these days are Matte yet creamy lipcolors. Well this calls for NYX SOFT MATTE LIPCREAM(well thats a long name so lets call it NSML).While going through the shades I was gravitated towards the shade AMSTERDAM

 PACKAGING,PRICE and AVAILABILITY

•  The packs of NSMLs are lipgloss look alikes. They are packed in a tube with a matt black screw handle.
• Packaging it quite sleek and so is easy to carry in your purse.

• As you can see it has a sponge type applicator which helps in easy and smooth application. APPY says : Be careful while applying the lip cream towards the outer edge of the lips as the applicator is not precise it may not give a neat application if you are not careful.
• It retails for around RM 27 in Sephora. You can also get in online here

A lovely red shade which instantly brightens up your face

• Neither glossy nor super drying. Just in between.

• Affordable
