• This lip creme comes in a transparent tube with a silver screw-on cap with the shade details on the bottom of the tube. 
• Its sleek packaging makes it travel-friendly. 
• It comes with a doe foot sponge applicator which makes the application quite easy and    hassle-free
• The Colorbar Deep Matte Lip Creme retails for rs 675 and is easily available at all colorbar makeup counter. You can always find it online @Nykaa.com

TEXTURE and SHADE

• The Colorbar Deep Matte Lip Creme has a buttery texture. It is rich and creamy and glides on your lips like a dream.
• Its not drying at all.
• It has a semi matte finish. It feels quite moisturising and hydrating on lips unlike most of the matte lipcolors.
• The pigmentation is awesome. Just one swipe and its enough for your lips.
• Now coming to the shade. DEEP COCO is the darkest shade from this range. Chocolate mousse is what it looks like. A brown shade which perfectly suits all skin tones.

VERDICT

• Sleek packaging makes it travel friendly
• Buttery texture makes it easy to apply
• semi matte finish. Any how if you want to make it more matte you can blot it and apply some loose powder
• Moisturising and hydrating on lips
• Its not transfer proof. So need to reapply after meal
• Easily available

Nykaa So Matte ! Lipstick in TAUPE THRILL : Review and Swatches

As many of you must be aware, Nykaa.com has come up with its own lipsticks called Nykaa So Matte !. And being a Nykaa.com fan, how can I not try them ! I picked a couple of them and today I will be sharing my opinion about the shade TAUPE THRILL

PACKAGING, PRICE AND AVAILABILITY

• Nykaa So Matte ! Lipsticks comes in a beautiful matte black packaging with NYKAA printed on it which is awww classy. It shuts down with a magnetic closure. It looks quite chic and high-endy..
• These lipsticks retail for Rs 399 !! I mean how did Nykaa.com manage to make these great quality lipsticks such affordable !!!!
• Its currently available only on Nykaa.com. But trust me guys nykaa's shipping is so smooth that you can literally feel like shopping from a counter.

SWATCH

 Nykaa So Matte ! Lipstick in the shade TAUPE THRILL, is a beautiful MLBB shade. It gives a vibe of that in famous "kylie jenner lipshade" A pretty brownish taupe shade which is apt for day as well as night wear.

VERDICT

• Firstly let us all THANK Nykaa.com for such great quality product with such affordable .
• The texture is very smooth and creamy and the lipstick glides on easily on lips
• Has a stay on power of 3-4hours, which is not that bad. After 4hours it leaves a stain though not that strongly pigmented.
• Shade does not bleed.
• Love the finish as it doesn't settle on the fine lines on my lips.
• Well Pigmented.
• Affordable
• Easily available @Nykaa.com 

I am quite impress with this range of lipsticks and looking forward to try some more shades as I am a sucker for lipsticks.

Colorbar Velvet Matte Lipstick in SPECIAL MAUVE : Review and Swatch

hey beauties... Welcome aboard !!! Today I will be taking you guys into my lipstick aisle... Lets pull out a lovely fall appropriate MATTE MAUVE shade. Its Colorbar Velvet Matte Lipstick in SPECIAL MAUVE 

PACKAGING,PRICE and AVAILABILITY

• There is nothing so special bout the packaging. Its not so sturdy.But the colored end is an add on for me cause I own a ton of lipsticks and searching for a particular shade can be more like a treasure hunt for me.
• Its not so easily available locally. I picked mine from Jabong.com
• I got it for rs 245

SWATCH TIME

The shade SPECIAL MAUVE is a beautiful DARK MAUVE shade and as its name suggests has a Matte finish. Its very pretty FALL appropriate shade and can suit Indian skintone perfectly

VERDICT

• User friendly packaging as the colored end help you see the shade.
• Smooth and creamy texture
• Very pigmented
• Not at all drying on lips. However you should always apply a lip balm underneath any lip product
• Has a beautiful Matte finish
• Has a pretty good range of shades
• Affordable
• Hard to find locally. But can be found easily online

In2It Lasting Lipstick in CRIMSON : Review and Swatch

Today TED, the frog, brings for you a DARK RED lipstick all the way from In2it Cosmetics. In2It Lasting Lipstick in CRIMSON.

• It comes in a shiny rose gold packaging. Its very pretty and glam.

SWATCH TIME

Its a beautiful MATTE CHERRY RED shade. Suits my Indian(Medium to Fair) skintone perfectly. 

VERDICT

• Beautiful matte dark red shade.
• Smooth application
• Not drying at all
• Great pigmentation
• Stays on for a good 5-6hours
• Affordable

If you are a lipstick junkie and a sucker for red lipsticks like me, this is a must have in your collection.

GOLDEN ROSE VELVET MATTE LIPSTICK in 12

hello beauties !!! Welcome !!
Today its time for another Rave. Yes!!! I love trying new brands of makeup. Yesterday while strolling around the mall, I came across this brand called "GOLDEN ROSE"

The name kind of sucked me into the store. I love Gold and I am crazy for Rose !!!

Golden Rose is basically a Turkish brand of cosmetics. It has been in European market for over 30 years !!!

Finally they have opened their first store in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at the Sunway Putra Mall.

Before going into any further details, let me first take a moment to praise the in store staffs !! I have shopped in a zillion of stores but their staffs have been the most amazing so far. They are so polite, so welcoming, so helpful. Always smiling and making the entire shopping experience pleasant. You know how annoying it is when you get into a store and the sale assistants are following you! But in Golden Rose, the girls really give you the space to explore the store. They are not at all nagging or pushy. I enjoyed shopping there and I thank them for making shopping so happy.

Well now coming to the products, they are super affordable. And the quality is amazing. While swatching the products I was so tempted to buy everything. Its like a high end product with a drugstore price.

I picked up quite a few products but I have decided to review each one of them separately for you guys. And today its the GOLDEN ROSE VELVET MATTE LIPSTICK in 12

PACKAGING, PRICE and AVAILABILITY

• These lipsticks comes in a velvety burgundy packaging. Its no fuss packaging and I like it. The only thing I dont like is the cap. I always prefer the click caps, so though the cap closes tight still I would have loved a click cap.
• It retails for RM 22.
• You can find it in store at Sunway Putra Mall, Kuala Lumpur. You can also buy it in their website here

SWATCH TIME

Its a MATTE DUSTY ROSE shade. Perfect neutral for a bold lipstick addict like me

VERDICT

• GOLDEN ROSE VELVET MATTE LIPSTICK in 12 is a beautiful everyday matte shade. Its my perfect neutral shade.
• The formula is creamy at application and hence glides on easy.
• Though being a Matte lipstick it doesnt dry out your lips.
• Amazing pigmentation.
• Stays on for a good 4hours and even leaves a tint after coming off.
• Affordable
• One advise for the brand "Please name the shades, its quite convenient".

Its a YES YES YES for me !!! I am surely going back to their store and grabbing some more shades.

Matte lipstick always excites me. When I heard of Silkygirl's Matte lipstick range, I had to get it. Silkygirl is my most trusted brand and one of my fav too. And who want to let go of matte lipsticks !!
I picked up a few and today its all about Silkygirl Go Matte Lipcolor in EXOTIC WINE

• Its sturdy and sleek too.

Exotic Wine is lovely MATTE BERRY shade. It brightens up your complexion instantly

VERDICT

• A lovely shade that suits all skin tones perfectly.
• Matte finish
• Not at all drying
• Smooth application
• Stays on for a good 4-5hours and leaves a stain after
• Easily available
• Affordable
