FOTD :Purple Storm using Elianto Eyeshadows

hey beauties. I am really obsessed with purple lately. I have been wearing a lot of purple looks and so I decided to show you guys one of my most worn look.

FOR EYES

• Prime your eyes
• Take a MATTE BROWN shade and apply it along the crease.

• Take a PURPLE shade and apply it on the eye lid.

• Take a NAVY BLUE shade and apply it on the outer V.
• Blend both the shades well to give a smokey effect.
• Line the lower lash line with the NAVY BLUE  shadow.
• Line the inner half of the lower lash line with the PURPLE shadow.
• Hightlight the brow bone and inner corner.
• Line the upper lash line and water line with black liner.
• Apply coats of mascara and your eyes are done.

FOR CHEEKS

Accentuate your cheeks with a PEACH blush. I am using TheBalm Blush in FRAT BOY. See review here

FOR LIPS

I am using a NUDE lipstick. Silkygirl Moisture Rich Lipstick in SENSUAL.

This is a good everyday look. Its subtle yet not plain. I hope you like it.

FOTD : Bronzey Eyes with Hot Pink Lips

hey beauties... Today's look is a pretty Bronzey Smokey eyes with this lovely Hot Pink lips.

For Eyes

• Prime your eyes
• Take some BRONZE shadow and apply it all over the lid..
• Now take a MATTE BROWN and apply it on the crease and blend it in.
• Take a pencil brush and grab some DARK BROWN/BLACK and apply it on the outer V and try blending it with the crease color.
• Apply the same DARK BROWN/BLACK on the lower lash line.
• Apply a HIGHLIGHTER shade on the browbone and inner half of the lower lid.
• Line upper lash line and waterline with a black liner.
• Apply coats of mascara
• Eyes are done.

For Cheeks

• Contour your face using a MATTE BRONZER/ CONTOUR shade. I used my ESSENCE Matte BRONZER. Review here
• For the cheeks, take a PEACHY shade. I used the Balm blush in FRAT BOY. Review here

For Lips

• Apply an HOT PINK/ BRIGHT BERRY shade. I am using Nyx Matte Lipstick in SWEET PINK. See Nyx haul here and here.

I hope you guys like this look. You can wear it as a day to night look by changing the lip color.

Celebrity Series : Makeup Look Inspired by Bollywood Diva Kareena Kapoor

I just love Kareena Kapoor. Her dance, style, makeup, acting is so perfect. She is a real diva.

I saw this pic of Kareena from the movie Heroine and totally fell in love with it !!!
Sultery smokey eyes just looks so perfect on her, and I thought to recreate the look for you lovelies.

FOR EYES

• Prime your eyes well.
• Take a BRONZE shade and apply it all over the lid and the lower lash line as well.
• Take a crease brush and grab some MATTE BROWN and apply it along the crease. Blend it well.
• Now take a DARK COPPER/ BRONZE or DARK BROWN and apply it on the outer half of the eye lid.Blend it well along the crease.
• Line the upper lash line and water line with a BLACK liner. Keep it thick.
• Now take a MATTE BLACK and apply it on the outer V and smudge it over the BLACK eyeliner applied on the upper lash line.Blend it well to give a nice smokey effect.
• Line the lower lash line and water line with a BLACK liner. Apply it close to the eye so that the BRONZE applied earlier peeks through. You can thicken the lower liner as of your requirement. I really don't like wearing it too thick.
• Apply tons of mascara and your eyes are done.

FOR CHEEKS

• Contour the cheeks. I used Essense cosmetics Matte Bronzer in Love to be Matt. See review here

FOR LIPS

• Team this look with a reddish PINK lipcolor. I have used Silkygirl Moisture Smooth Lipcolor in Simply Pink.

Look Of The Day : Brown Smokey Eyes with Animal Print Tops

Today's post is not only a FOTD. Its also an OUTFIT idea post. I am no fashionista but I am a girly girl and love fashion. So every week, I will be sharing with you my Outfit idea and tips. Let's make this interactive and so you guys can also comment below and let me know your ideas and suggestions. Sharing is Caring, right !!

So lets get started...

MAKEUP

FOR EYES

• Prime your eyes
• Take a MATTE BROWN shade on the crease to define it.
• Apply a METALLIC GREY shade all over the lid
• Now take a clean blending brush and blend out any harsh line on the edges.
• Next take a crease brush and apply a DARK BROWN on the outer V and blend it along the crease.
• Now take a MATTE BLACK and apply it on the outer V to intensify the look.
• Apply the MATTE BLACK on the outer part of the lower lash line.
• For the middle part of the lower lash line apply the METALLIC GREY. 
• Take a pencil brush and blend both the shades on the lower lash line.
• Highlight the inner corner and the brow bone.
• Line the upper lash line and water line with a BLACK liner.
• Apply mascara and your eyes are done.

FOR CHEEKS

• Apply a BRONZER and HIGHLIGHT your cheek bones. I am using Essence Matte Bronzer in  LOVE TO BE MATT , see review here and In2It Facial Highlighter in WARM GOLD,  see review here .

FOR LIPS

• I have teamed this look with a HOT PINK lipstick. I am using Silkygirl Moisture Smooth Lipstick in HOT FUCHSIA. 

You can wear this look for a glamorous day out event.

Now for the OUTFIT IDEA 

I am wearing this GRAY ANIMAL PRINT TOPS. It has a winged arm and is flowy. Its great to wear on Hot and Humid days. I am a plus size girl, so I am not always comfortable in wearing sleeveless tops, so this kind of flowy dresses are best for my body frame.
I have cinched the waist with a BROWN LEOPARD PRINT BELT. This really gives my outfit an edge and is not a boring plain belt. Brown color goes well with my dress as well.

FOTD : Wearable Colourful Eyes

Hi beauties.
We all love colorful eye makeup, right? But sometimes its not practically possible to wear it in our day to day life. So I thought of making it a bit wearable, which I can wear everyday.

FOR EYES

• Prime your eyes.

• Take a YELLOW shadow and pack it on the inner half of the eye lids.

• Now take a RED shadow and apply it on the outer half of the eye lids.
• Now blend both the shades well.

• Next take a MATTE BROWN shadow on a crease brush and apply it along the crease and blend upwards.
• Highlight the browbone and inner corner and drag it to the inner corner of lower eye lid.
• Line the lower lash line with the MATTE BROWN.
• Line the upper lash line and waterline with a black liner.
• Apply mascara and your eyes are done.

FOR FACE

• Apply a base to your makeup.
• Apply foundation/tinted moisturizer.
• Conceal your flaws.

• Apply a PEACH blush. I am using DAISO blush in Orange.

FOR LIPS

• As there is so much going on in the eyes, I prefer to wear a nude lipstick.So I am using COZY TANGERINE from Maybelline.

My Take Time : Essence Cosmetics Matt Bronzer Review

hey Gorgeous....
I am quite iffy when it comes to Bronzers !!! They either makes me look muddy or shimmery.So I was in a hunt for a matt bronzer.And finally I got my hands on the ESSENCE COSMETICS BRONZING COMPACT POWDER in LOVE TO BE MATT

What It Says

Silky smooth powder for a matt and tanned finish.

My Verdict
After using it for over a month, I can say...

• It gives me a nice tanned glow without making my face look muddy.
• Its not very highly pigmented and so no fear of getting a over bronzed face.
• The smooth texture makes it easy to blend.
• When I wear a shimmery eyes, this matt bronzer matify the over all look of my face.
• The packaging is quite plasticy and cheap looking.
• As it is quite bulky, it may not be the best one to travel with.
• Over all it serves my purpose of a matt bronzer.

Hope you can see the sheer tanned glow on my cheek

It is definitely a CATCH IT for me.
