Lovely PEACHY PINK shades with GOLDEN micro Shimmers which gives a beautiful glow to the cheeks

VERDICT

• Lovely Peachy Pink shade with Golden shimmer in it.
• Shimmers aren't overly chunky.Its subtle gold shimmers.Best for spring/summer.
• Gives a nice glow to the cheeks.
• Smooth texture so easily blendable.
• Awesome pigmentation
• Stay on for a good 4hours on my skin.
• Affordable
• Said to be the dupe for NARS Orgasm blush.

If you love Nice subtle blush with a bit of glitzy glam, go for it. Trust me you going to love it.
It's a YES for me :)

Bridal Makeup Look in Collab with Loverly

hey beauties..
After ages I am back with a very interesting post for all you pretties especially Brides-to be.

Recently I was contacted by this amazing gang of wedding planners called Loverly and they wanted to send some pics of their wedding gown and I need to do makeup looks for each. Well I am no professional make up artist, so doing such a task was definitely challenging for me. The pics of dresses they sent were gorgeous (I wish I could have wore them on my "Indian" wedding) and I thoroughly enjoyed creating looks.
I went through their website and trust me guys they have gorgeous collection of wedding dresses, shoes, jewellery, and many other stuffs you need for a perfect dream wedding. Do Visit Their site here

Before deciding on what look to go for I kept in mind one thing i.e. the makeup should be pretty as well as not overpowering the beauty of these dresses.

They have sent me a few pics of dresses, and I will be doing the looks one by one, reason??? Simple my toddler baby is a storm and I have no time when she is awake.

Okay so without doing any further ado, lets hop into dreamy wedding land :)

While deciding the looks, I thought to do looks for every bride. I have three looks. BOLD LIPS, BOLD EYES and ALL NUDE.

LOOK 1 : BOLD LIPS

 Have a look at this gorgeous dress. Its simple yet elegant. This soft and flowy corset gown portraits a delicate dreamy bride with soft romantic eyes and that's the reason I went for simple natural eye makeup. But weddings are not complete without some drama, and in order to add some drama lets go for a RED LIPS. You can never go wrong with a romantic RED LIPS on your day of love, right?

• A lovely SKIN TONE/ BEIGE shade all over the lid.
• A DARK BROWN for the outer V and lower lash line.
• Icing on the cake are Loads of mascara and a winged liner.
• Some CHAMPAGNE highlighter on the inner corner and the brow bone.

hey beauties...Happy Winters !!! Its been quite chilly at my city, Bhubaneswar. How about yours? Hope you guys are enjoying the cozy weather.

The Greatest Online Shopping Festival(GOSF) 2013 was going on and there were crazy deals at almost all online shopping sites in India. Well how can I excuse myself from such crazy deals, so I grabbed my ipad and typed JABONG.COM :) My most fav online shopping site. I got a lot of fashion stuffs and a few beauty stuffs.

This post is about the beauty haul I made.

Bio Honey Water. This a herbal freshener from Biotique

Vedicline Facewash in Eucalyptus and Rosemary. This is for blemished skin. I am breaking out a lot lately so wanted to buy this

Bio Almond. Its a nourishing eye cream. 

Accessorize Baked Bronzer Duo in Laguna. Its a pretty bronzy highlighter. 

Nyx Single Eyeshadow in Taupe. An everyday eyelid shade.

MUA Mosaic Blush in English Rose. Give a Pinky natural glow

Last but not the least my fav. Accessorize Bronze Glow Highlighter. Give such a nice glow to the skin. I am in love with this product.

So this is it. My pretty beauty haul. I am in love with my purchase and will soon review it for you guys. Till then stay pretty.

Product of the Month : October

Long Time No See...Well blame my busy schedule.Taking care of an infant is no joke guys seriously. But I am happy that I finally got sometime to give love to my blog.
I am here today with my current favorite product. My savior. Its a tiny lipstick. Well you might have already guessed that I am always out of time and when in a hurry to head out of the house, this one product changes my look. Its Nyx Round Lipstick in LOUISIANA.

PACKAGING, PRICE and AVAILABILITY

• It has quite a decent packaging.
• It looks chic and wont take a lot of space while organizing.
• The transparent bottom ,where you can actually see the shade, is something I love. Cause if you are a lipstick stalker like me then its easy for you to chose what color you need from your huge collection.
• These lipsticks are available locally for RM 19 at Sephora. But there are websites which sell them for much cheap prices.

SWATCH TIME

Its a creamy Pink shade, that brightens up my look instantly. I can go without any makeup and just this lipcolor.

MY VERDICT

• Nyx round lipsticks have a wide range of colors that you can choose from. Nudes to Pinks to Reds. 
• It is very creamy. So, it glides on smoothly on the lips. 
• The texture is quite moisturising. But still always apply a lip balm before applying any lip product.
• Great pigmentation. It gives an opaque finish, even for lighter shades.
• Its quite affordable and easily available at store and online.
• It has got a huge literally hundreds of shades which is a wow factor. 
• The finish is awesome. They're so pigmented, opaque, and long lasting. What else you can ask from a lipstick :)

Product of the Month : June - Nyx Eyeshadow Base in Skin Tone

Its bye bye June time !!! Monsoon is slowly entering my home town in India. The weather is changing from Too hot to kind of Cool. I am quite liking it. Anyways before we enter the showers of July lets see what June has given me.
Yes, so the product of the Month for June goes to "NYX EYESHADOW BASE in SKIN TONE"

 Well I own this product from quite a long time now. If you are a reader of my blog, you must be aware that I do a lot of makeup looks. Apart from that I also wear eye makeup in real life. From vibrant to neutral, I love experimenting with different looks. And when you use eyeshadows, a must have for you is a good base to hold and bring out the shades. You must be thinking, if she has been using the Nyx base from quite a long time, then why all of a sudden talking about it today. Well recently I had severe hormone changes which made a lot of physical change in me, including making my eye lids super duper oily. Yes, all my life I had a combination skin but a normal eyelid, but now my eye lids are oily. I used other eye bases like Elianto eye base but my eye makeup just creased like hell. I felt as if my eyeshadows just slipped off. But one thing that saved me was NYX EYESHADOW BASE. It just adhered my eye shadows all day without a slightest creasing.

• Comes in three shades, White, Skin tone and Pearl. I own Skin Tone
• It comes in a transparent pot with a white lid.
• It can be a bit bulky but I dont mind.
• It retails at all Nyx Counters. I got mine from Sephora, Kuala Lumpur. (I miss Sephora !!) for rm 20 something

SWATCH TIME

MY VERDICT

• An awesome base for my oily eyelids.
• Holds the eyeshadow very well and stays on all day.
• No creasing, no rubbing off of the shade till you remove it.
• Texture is creamy 
• Blends easily.
• The skin tone shade evens out of eyelid.
• Makes the eyeshadow more vibrant.
• One pot lasts forever. So true to the price paid.

Its a perfect eye base for me which makes my eyeshadows pop, vibrant and last forever.

Summer Series : Bright Pink Lips Makeup Look

One of my fav look for summer is bright lips. Today's look is a bright Pink lips teamed with either smokey or neutral eyes.

• Prime your eyes
• For this look you can either do a Soft smokey eye or a Neutral eye.I opted for a soft smokey look.
• Using a crease brush, apply a BROWN shadow to your crease and outer corner. 
• Now take a DARK BRONZE shade and apply it to the outer "V" and lower lash line, stopping half way in.
• Next fill in the entire eyelid with a NUDE shade. Drag it to the inner half of the lower lash line.
• Line your upper lash line with a BLACK liner.
• Apply coats of mascara and your eyes are done.

• Now the fun part. The centre of focus for this look is the BRIGHT PINK lips.
• Moisturise your lips.
• Pull out your fav Bright PINK lipstick and apply it onto your lips. Mine happen to be Nyx Matte Lipstick in  Sweet Pink See swatch here

My Take Time : Nyx Round Lipsticks Review

hey beauties. First of all I am very sorry for being "GONE" from my blog. I am not completely back yet as my health and my doctors dont permit me.But I will be doing posts every now and then. Though not keeping my tradition of writing every single day, still will be in touch by regular posts. So please be with me and keep showering your love and support.
Well now coming to the post. If you have read my previous posts, you probably know how much I have been loving NYX lipsticks and buying a few ever since it had hit Malaysia market. I have been using NYX ROUND LIPSTICKS religiously and loving it to the core. Its texture, stay on power and price is just great.

Nyx Round Lipstick in CHAOS. A lovely RED shade. Perfect for medium to dark skin tone.

FOTD : Sultry Smokey Eyes

Smokey eyes are always what I love to wear. Be it a casual night out or a special occasion, sultry smokey eyes are always in. So here's a dark smokey eyes with nude lips look for you lovelies....

FOR EYES

• Prime your eyes both lid and lower lash line. cause we are going to use lots of blacks.

• Take a BRONZE eyeshadow and apply it all over your lid and along the lower lash line. This will act as a base
• Apply a HIGHLIGHT on the browbone. Donot blend it, just apply it.

• .Now take a  DARK BROWN shade and apply it on the outer half of the lid. Blend it well along the crease and with the bronze base.
• Now line the entire lower lash line with this DARK BROWN shade using a pencil brush.
• Line the upper lash line with a BLACK liner.

• Now take a MATTE BLACK shadow and pat it above the BLACK liner and apply it on the outer V. This will intensify the look more making it look bold and sultry.
• Take a blending brush and blend out all the shades.Also blend the brow bone highlight.
• Now use the same BLACK shadow and apply it on the lower lash line above the DARK BROWN.
• Line the water line with a BLACK liner.
• Apply mascara and your are done.

FOR LIPS

Team this sultry look with a NUDE lips. I am using Nyx Round Lipstick in B52
