FOTD : Bronzey Eyes with Hot Pink Lips

hey beauties... Today's look is a pretty Bronzey Smokey eyes with this lovely Hot Pink lips.

For Eyes

• Prime your eyes
• Take some BRONZE shadow and apply it all over the lid..
• Now take a MATTE BROWN and apply it on the crease and blend it in.
• Take a pencil brush and grab some DARK BROWN/BLACK and apply it on the outer V and try blending it with the crease color.
• Apply the same DARK BROWN/BLACK on the lower lash line.
• Apply a HIGHLIGHTER shade on the browbone and inner half of the lower lid.
• Line upper lash line and waterline with a black liner.
• Apply coats of mascara
• Eyes are done.

For Cheeks

• Contour your face using a MATTE BRONZER/ CONTOUR shade. I used my ESSENCE Matte BRONZER. Review here
• For the cheeks, take a PEACHY shade. I used the Balm blush in FRAT BOY. Review here

For Lips

• Apply an HOT PINK/ BRIGHT BERRY shade. I am using Nyx Matte Lipstick in SWEET PINK. See Nyx haul here and here.

I hope you guys like this look. You can wear it as a day to night look by changing the lip color.

FOTD : Festive Look 2 Bold Eyes with Nude Lips

hey beauties !!! My blog is in total festive mood like me. Yesterday I posted a Festive Look with Coppery Eyes and Bold Red lips. You can see it here 

Today's look is bold Golden eyes with Nude lips. This look can be wore for any parties and celebrations. It will go well with any color of outfit you wear !!!

FOR EYES

• Prime your eyes well.
• Take a MATTE BROWN shade and define your crease. Blend it well.
• Now take a GOLDEN shade and apply it all over the lid. Drag it to the inner half of the lower lash line.
• Take an ORANGE shade and pat it on the middle of the eye lids. This will give a nice glow to your eyes.
• Take a crease brush and grab some DARK PURPLE/BLACK (I prefer PURPLE more) and apply it on the outer V and blend it well along the crease. Blend it well to give a smokey effect.
• Now take a BURGUNDY shade and apply it on the crease just touching the brow bone.
• Blend it well.
• Highlight the brow bone.
• Line the lower lash line with a GREEN eyeshadow (you can skip this step if its too much).
• Now line the water line and upper lash line with a BLACK liner.
• Apply mascara and your FESTIVE eyes are done.

FOR CHEEKS

Apply a highlight and a PEACH blush. I am using theBalm MARY LOU MANIZER as highlight. See Review here

Keep it NUDE. I am using Silkygirl Moisture Max Lipstick in HONEY TEA

Kuala Lumpur is HOT I mean very very hot.I have tanned alot these days and so I have been using my Revlon Colorstay Foundation in Toast alot. Its a darker shade and goes on well when I am tanned. Its a medium to full coverage foundation. And stays all day. Even if I go out in sun, my makeup looks perfect and in place.No melting no messy.

                                      

For my cheeks, I am totally in love with these two babies. TheBalm blush in FRAT BOY and Daiso Multi cheek blush in PINK. Frat boy is a Peachy Pink blush and is kind of matte. On the other hand Multi cheek is more of a PINK highlighter. I switch between these two blushes and both of them give me a nice healthy glow with some color. See my complete review on Frat Boy here 

I got a perfect shade for my eyebrows. Elianto Ardour shadow in EARTH BROWN. Its matte and perfect dark brown. Neither reddish nor blackish. Just a perfect fill for my brows.

I have been sticking on to neutral eyes this month (woah if its not for a FOTD post :) ). So here's what I am reaching for. My Silkygirl Duo shadow in Mocha Latte. Its soft, creamy, blend-able and pigmented.

But for some Pop-up, I use my Silkygirl Funky Eyelights Pencil in Ocean Blue.

The Balmology : Mary - Lou Manizer Luminizer Review

This is my fourth The Balm product.
First was HOT MAMA here , second was CABANA BOY here, third was FRAT BOY here and now its MARY - LOU MANIZER aka the LUMINIZER.
As the name suggests its an universal highlighter i.e. can be used any where you want a nice glow.
Well I was really looking for a highlighter from the longest time and then after reading tons of positive review about this product and obviously after my great experience with the balm products, I made my mind to buy the Mary-Lou manizer. But to my luck whenever I went to Sasa or several Sasas this was out of stock.
Finally I got my hands over this product. Ok so long story short finally the Mary-Lou Manizer is caught ;)

PACKAGING and AVAILABILITY

• Oh my !! look at this cute Mugshot packaging. I just love theBalm packaging.Its amazing.
• It comes with a decent size mirror and has a tons of product in there.
• Its retails for rm 72 at SASA (but I got in for 50rm woo hoo offer offer).

MY VERDICT 

• Its a beautiful soft shimmering champagne with golden micro shimmers.
• Its shimmery but not glittery or heavy or like the one which makes you look like disco ball. It gives you a nice glow.
• It gives a noticeable glow on any skin tones.
• Its highly pigmented so a slight tap of brush is enough. You need to tap the tiniest amount and blend it on to the area you want to highlight.
• Caution : Do not use a heavy hand cause this may attract attention to some imperfections like pores or fine lines. But if you apply it with a light loose hand and blend it well, it can give you a lovely shine.
• It has a smooth texture which is not powdery and blends easily.
• This is an universal highligher.I use it on my cheekbones, on the inner corner of  my eyes, and some times over a eyeshadow to give a nice shimmer look.

Its a HIT for me and I love to catch the MARY-LOU MANIZER :)

Balmology : The FRAT BOY blush Review

Today I am going to write about a new addition to my The Balm family,  FRAT BOY blush.

PACKAGING and AVAILABILITY

• Who else can make such cute packaging like theBalm. Ahh I love it.
• It comes with a decent size mirror.But no brush.Seriously, I dont care abt the brush coz anyhow I never use the brushes which comes with the blush.
• Its retails for rm 65 at SASA.

MY VERDICT 

• Its a beautiful peach shade.
• Its not shimmery but it gives a nice golden sheen.The sheen ain't so obvious.
• The shade is perfect summer day time blush.
• Its highly pigmented so a slight tap of brush is enough.
• It has a smooth texture which is not powdery and blends easily.
• The balm claims that it is a good lid color as well which is definitely a cherry on the cake :)

The Balmology : The Balm blush in Cabana Boy Review

hey beauties !!! I am really in love with The Balm products and have already raved about  HOT MAMA blush and today I am going to rave about my CABANA BOY blush.

PACKAGING and AVAILABILITY

• It has a seductive hard board packaging with magnet on the closure.This packaging makes it sleek and travel friendly.I just love theBalm packaging.Its quite unique.
• It comes with a decent size mirror.But no brush.Seriously, I dont care abt the brush coz anyhow I never use the brushes which comes with the blush.
• Its retails for rm 65 at SASA.

MY VERDICT 

• Its a beautiful dusty rose shade with golden shimmer in it.I just love the shade.
• Its not shimmery but it gives a nice golden sheen.
• It has got a hint of plum in it which makes it a great night blush too.
• The shade makes it a over the year blush.
• Its highly pigmented so a slight tap of brush is enough.
• It has a smooth texture which is not powdery and blends easily.
• The balm claims that it is a good lid color as well which is definitely a cherry on the cake :)

FOTD : Blue Smokey Eyes

Today's look is a beautiful Blue look.

 Blue eyes with blushing berry lips makes a great combinations !!!

SO LETS GET STARTED

• Prime your eyes.

• Take a MATTE BROWN and apply it just above the crease and buff it out.

• Now take a DARK GREY color and apply it on the crease.
• Take a highlighter and apply it in the inner corner.

• Now the main color of the look, take a BLUE eyeshadow and apply it all over the lid on a patting motion.
• Blend all the shades using a MATTE BROWN and build the intensity on the outer V by blending.
• Apply the BLUE color in the lower lash line.
• Line the upper lash line and water line with a black liner and apply few coats of mascara.
• Apply a PEACHY blush on cheeks.I applied theBalm blush in HOT MAMA. See review here

• And for lips, go for a BERRY shade.

hey beauties !!! I am really in love with The Balm products.... I own two blushes currently and today I am going to rave about my HOT MAMA blush.

PACKAGING and AVAILABILITY

• It has a sexy(literally sexy) hard board packaging with magnet on the lid.This packaging makes it sleek and easy to carry.
• It comes with a decent size mirror.But no brush.Seriously, I dont care abt the brush coz anyhow I never use the brushes which comes with the blush.
• Its available in SASA outlets and comes for rm 65.

MY VERDICT 

• Its a beautiful peachy shade with golden shimmer in it.
• Its not shimmery but it gives a nice golden sheen.Which makes it a great summer blush.
• Its highly pigmented so a slight tap of brush is enough.
• It has a smooth texture which is not powdery and blends easily.

I am really bad at clicking my cheeks but trust me guys the blush is quite pigmented in person

Haul Time : SaSa, Watsons, Daiso

Hey beauties !!! Its been a long since I have done any haul.So here I am with a collective haul.

My First stop was DAISO and I picked these two items.

I am a big fan of Daiso eyeshadows and so I picked up this eyeshadow in Purple

I got a pack of Makeup Sponges

Next I stopped by Coci Coci and picked a Essense Cosmetics Multi blush.

Next stop was Watsons,

Wet wipes 

Head and Shoulders for my dry scalp

And now the star of the show !!!!!!!

Yes finally I had my hands on the Cabana Boy ;) ahem ahem....I love this blush and was hunting for it since ages and finally its mine :)
