Metallic Smokey Eyes for Party

hey guys !!!
Today is the last day of 2014 and what better way to end this year by talking to you guys through a blogpost.
This year has been crazy busy for me and I was away from blogging like forever. Hope 2015 will be not so harsh on me and I will be doing blogpost quite often. I have decided to do atleast 2posts every week and those will go live on MONDAY and THURSDAY. Lets see ho things goes.
Now comig to the makeup look.
 New years eve ==Party
Party == Bedazzled eyes

Its a very pretty metallic smokey eye with nude lips. This look is apt for any party or any casual outing. Easy to wear and hassle free. Just the way we like it !!!

Here's my recreation of this look....

  • Prime your eyes
  • Now take a SILVER shade and apply it to the inner corners of the eyelids and blend it to the inner half of lower lash line as well.

  • Now take a GREY shadow and apply it all over the lid.

    • Next pick some METALLIC BLACK shade in a blending brush and apply it to the outer V blending it in the crease.Line your lower lash line with this same shade using a smudge brush.
    • Finish your eye makeup with some black eyeliner and coats of mascara.
    • Team this look with PEACH blush and NUDE lips. For blush I am using The Balm Blush in FRAT BOY. See review here. For lipstick I am using Revlon Matte Lipstick in Cocoa Craving. See review here

This completes the look. Hope you guys like it.
Thanks and stay beautiful coz you totally worth it !!!

WISH YOU ALL A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR from me and my family !!! See you guys in 2015 with lots of love and happiness :) :)

Bridal Makeup Look in Collab with Loverly

    hey beauties..
After ages I am back with a very interesting post for all you pretties especially Brides-to be.

Recently I was contacted by this amazing gang of wedding planners called Loverly and they wanted to send some pics of their wedding gown and I need to do makeup looks for each. Well I am no professional make up artist, so doing such a task was definitely challenging for me. The pics of dresses they sent were gorgeous (I wish I could have wore them on my "Indian" wedding) and I thoroughly enjoyed creating looks.
I went through their website and trust me guys they have gorgeous collection of wedding dresses, shoes, jewellery, and many other stuffs you need for a perfect dream wedding. Do Visit Their site here

Before deciding on what look to go for I kept in mind one thing i.e. the makeup should be pretty as well as not overpowering the beauty of these dresses.

They have sent me a few pics of dresses, and I will be doing the looks one by one, reason??? Simple my toddler baby is a storm and I have no time when she is awake.

Okay so without doing any further ado, lets hop into dreamy wedding land :)

While deciding the looks, I thought to do looks for every bride. I have three looks. BOLD LIPS, BOLD EYES and ALL NUDE.

    LOOK 1 : BOLD LIPS

Have a look at this gorgeous dress. Its simple yet elegant. This soft and flowy corset gown portraits a delicate dreamy bride with soft romantic eyes and that's the reason I went for simple natural eye makeup. But weddings are not complete without some drama, and in order to add some drama lets go for a RED LIPS. You can never go wrong with a romantic RED LIPS on your day of love, right?

For this look I used my Makeup Revolution London's Redemption Palette in ESSENTIAL MATTES. See here
    • A lovely SKIN TONE/ BEIGE shade all over the lid.
    • A DARK BROWN for the outer V and lower lash line.
    • Icing on the cake are Loads of mascara and a winged liner.
    • Some CHAMPAGNE highlighter on the inner corner and the brow bone.
    • Finish up the look with Pretty PINK BAKED blush. I used Makeup Revolution London's Baked blush in ALL I THINK ABOUT IS YOU (Cheesy ). See here
And now the star of the show, RED LIPS using NYX Round Lipstick in CHAOS. See my review here

Well so this completes the Look. Hope you guys like it. Do comment below and let me know your thoughts and suggestions. Donot forget to Visit Loverly here

I will see you guys soon with another Bridal Look and a very pretty Wedding Dress :) Till then stay beautiful coz you totally worth it !!

First Impression : MUA Glamour Days Eyeshadow Palette Swatches and Review

hey beauties...I am back after a long hiatus. Things have changed a lot. Its 2014 now. A new year. My bumble bee is 6months and have started taking solid food. My baby is growing fast and so is keeping me occupied 24/7. Result : No Frequent Blog Posts :(
Well before my sleeping beauty wakes up, lets get started with this post.
I love MUA products and have hauled quite a lot of them in the past few months, Recently I picked up two pretty MUA eyeshadow palettes from Jabong.com
Today I am giving my views on the MUA Glamour Days Eyeshadow Palette.
I must say that the packaging is very sleek and has a clear lid to it. It comes with a double-ended eye shadow applicator.

The thing I like most about this palette is the mix between both neutral shades and the brighter more colourful shades. Perfect to add a bit of vibrant glamour to your every day natural make up look.

    SWATCH TIME
    FIRST ROW
Shade 1 : Pearly White Shade. Perfect for highlighting
Shade 2. Icy Blue Shade.Very pretty Shimmery shade
Shade 3. Very pretty Pomegranate shade. It has a sheen and not shimmer. Very pretty and my fav.
Shade 4. Pinkish White Shade. It has a Matte finish.
Shade 5. A yellowish Brown shade. Matte finish and has the worst pigmentation. Disappointing.
Shade 6. A lovely Electric Blue. Very lovely shade with an awesome color payoff.

    SECOND ROW
Shade 7. Shimmery Purple. Another pretty shade and Purple is my favourite and compliments my brown eyes.
Shade 8. Purplish Pink. Shimmery and very romantic shade.Apt for first Date makeup looks
Shade 9. Glittery Golden. I am not quite happy with the color payoff. Its chunky and gives a lot of fall outs.
Shade 10. A blackish brown. Its a matte shade and a great shade for smokey looks.
Shade 11. Coppery Bronze. Its a lovely copper shade with a hint of bronze.
Shade 12. Pearly Golden shade. Its a lovely all over lid color.

    VERDICT
    • Travel friendly packaging.
    • Great selection of shades.
    • Overall a great and versatile palette.
Have you guys tried this palette? Do let me know your views.
I will come back with a new post soon, till then stay beautiful.
