Holiday Series : Olive Green Smokey Eyes

Hey beauties...Today's look is an Olive smokey eyes with Rosy lips. Olive green suits brown eyes perfectly and makes it look glam.

So lets get started...

FOR EYES

• Prime your eyelids.

• Define your crease with a MATTE BROWN. I am using Elianto Ardour Shadow in VENUS BROWN.

• Now take a OLIVE GREEN shade and apply it all over the lid. I am using Elianto Lustre Shadow in OLIVE GREEN.

• Next take a LIGHT GREEN shade and apply it on to the inner corner of the eye. I am using Silkygirl Blockbuster Palette in URBAN MOOD. See review here
• Now line the inner half of the lower lash line with the OLIVE GREEN shade.

• Next take a MATTE BLACK and apply it on the outer V and blend it well. I am using SIlkygirl Eyeshadow Duo in YIN and YANG. See review here
• Line the outer half of lower lash line with the MATTE BLACK shade.
• Highlight the browbone.
• Line the upper lash line with a GREEN liner.
• Apply mascara and your eyes are done.

FOR CHEEKS

• Go for a PEACH blush. I am using Daiso Multicheek Blush in ORANGE

FOR LIPS

• Team this look with a ROSY PINK shade. I am using Silkygirl Moisture Smooth Lipstick in JUICY PINK. See review here

Holiday Makeup Look : Smokey Eyes with Bright Lips

hey beauties... I am really pumped up these day to do blog posts every single day. But the weather in KL has been quite gloomy these days. Its been raining cats and dogs !!! Woah not literally :)

As I always use natural light for my blog photos, I am unable to do any makeup looks for you guys.

 But today I wokeup early and did this look. Its a classic holiday look. Smokey eyes with Bright lips

Lets get started... I used DAISO neutral quad for this look.I had this for quite a long time and today I thought of pulling it out and doing this look.

• Prime your eyes.
• Take a DARK BROWN shadow and apply it on the outer half of the eye lid. Also apply it to the outer half of the lower lash line.
• Blend it well along the crease.
• Next take a CHAMPAGNE/ HIGHLIGHT shade and apply it onto the inner half of the eye and also drag it till the inner half of the lower lash line.
• Also use this same shade to highlight the browbone.
• Now take some BROWN(lighter shade of brown/a shade darker than your skin tone) with a blending brush and blend it with the DARK BROWN along the crease.
• Next take some BLACK shadow and apply it to the outer V.Blend it well with the browns.
• Line the upper lash line and water line with a BLACK liner.
• Apply coats of mascara and your eyes are done.

FOR CHEEKS

• Contour your cheeks. I am using DAISO blush in BROWN
• Now apply a ROSY shade onto the cheeks. I am using Sephora blush in Raspberry Sheen. See review here

FOR LIPS

• Go for Bright BERRY lipstick. I am using Maybelline Lipstick in ICED ORCHID.

FOTD : Everyday Makeup Look with a POP

hey beauties.. Today's look is another Everyday makeup look with a pop-up.

• Prime your eyes.
• Define the crease with a MATTE BROWN shade.
• Apply a BRONZE shade all over the lid.
• Now take a DARK BROWN/ BLACK shade and apply it on the outer V.
• Blend it well along the crease.
• Now highlight the browbone and the inner part of the eye.
• Now for the Pop. Line the lower lash line with a AQUA color liner. I used Elianto eyeshadow in AQUAMARINE.

• Line the upper lash line and water line with a BLACK liner.
• Apply few coats of mascara and your eyes are done.
• Now go for a PEACH blush.I am using Daiso Multicheek blush in ORANGE.
• For the Lips, go for a PINK/ROSY shade.I am wearing my new Nyx Round Lipstick in Gardenia. Its a lovely pink shade with a bit of shimmer in it. Its such a gorgeous yet subtle shade.

FOTD : Silver Pink and Burgundy Look ft. MAYBELLINE EYESTUDIO DIAMOND GLOW EYESHADOW QUAD in Wine Pink

hey beauties... Today's look is a combination of three of my favourite shades, Silver, Pink and Burgundy.
For this I am using MAYBELLINE EYESTUDIO DIAMOND GLOW EYESHADOW QUAD in WINE PINK. See review here 

So lets get started !!!

• Prime your eye lids
• Apply a METALLIC GRAY shadow all over the lid. 
• Take a BURGUNDY shade and apply it on the crease. 
• Now on a blending brush take some PINK shade and blend it well with the BURGUNDY.
• Donot over blend the shades else you may loose the intensity.
• Now line the lower lash line with the BURGUNDY shade.
• Highlight the browbone and inner corner of the eye.
• Line the upper lash line and waterline with black liner. Just draw a cat eye using your black liner.
• Apply coats of mascara and your eyes are done.
• Team it up with a BRONZER on cheeks.
• For lips, you can go for a BRIGHT PINK lips or for a subtle look can go for NUDE. I prefer BRIGHT PINK lips. I am using Silkygirl Moisture Smooth lipstick in HOT FUCHSIA. See review here

FOTD : Wearable Colourful Eyes

Hi beauties.
We all love colorful eye makeup, right? But sometimes its not practically possible to wear it in our day to day life. So I thought of making it a bit wearable, which I can wear everyday.

FOR EYES

• Prime your eyes.

• Take a YELLOW shadow and pack it on the inner half of the eye lids.

• Now take a RED shadow and apply it on the outer half of the eye lids.
• Now blend both the shades well.

• Next take a MATTE BROWN shadow on a crease brush and apply it along the crease and blend upwards.
• Highlight the browbone and inner corner and drag it to the inner corner of lower eye lid.
• Line the lower lash line with the MATTE BROWN.
• Line the upper lash line and waterline with a black liner.
• Apply mascara and your eyes are done.

FOR FACE

• Apply a base to your makeup.
• Apply foundation/tinted moisturizer.
• Conceal your flaws.

• Contour your cheeks and I am using Essence Matte Bronzer. See Review HERE

• Apply a PEACH blush. I am using DAISO blush in Orange.

FOR LIPS

• As there is so much going on in the eyes, I prefer to wear a nude lipstick.So I am using COZY TANGERINE from Maybelline.

My Current Favourites : Makeup !!!

After posting my Current Skin care, Body care and Hair care favourites here , lets see my Current Makeup Products.

Kuala Lumpur is HOT I mean very very hot.I have tanned alot these days and so I have been using my Revlon Colorstay Foundation in Toast alot. Its a darker shade and goes on well when I am tanned. Its a medium to full coverage foundation. And stays all day. Even if I go out in sun, my makeup looks perfect and in place.No melting no messy.

                                      

For my cheeks, I am totally in love with these two babies. TheBalm blush in FRAT BOY and Daiso Multi cheek blush in PINK. Frat boy is a Peachy Pink blush and is kind of matte. On the other hand Multi cheek is more of a PINK highlighter. I switch between these two blushes and both of them give me a nice healthy glow with some color. See my complete review on Frat Boy here 

I got a perfect shade for my eyebrows. Elianto Ardour shadow in EARTH BROWN. Its matte and perfect dark brown. Neither reddish nor blackish. Just a perfect fill for my brows.

I have been sticking on to neutral eyes this month (woah if its not for a FOTD post :) ). So here's what I am reaching for. My Silkygirl Duo shadow in Mocha Latte. Its soft, creamy, blend-able and pigmented.
