hello beauties...
Me and my hubby have one thing in common, we both are big time FOODIES. Yes !! We love food and always ready to try new cuisines. So recently when I got a deal from Ensogo Malaysia for "All you can eat" Vietnamese food at an authentic restaurant, I just couldn't let go of it.

ROYALE VIETNAM is located at STARHILL GALLERY, Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur. An exotic fine dining with a touch of Vietnam. Everything from food to interiors to the staffs were drenched in Vietnamese tradition.
The ambiance just sucked me in. So peaceful and serene. Every corner was decorated with traditional Vietnamese artifacts and show pieces. The restaurant was so welcoming and calm. The lighting, decoration and every furniture was so beautiful and exotic. It was like a little Vietnam.

Menu flooding with a gazillion of Vietnamese delicacies starting from Appetizers to Salads to Main course, they had options for both veg and non veg dishes

As we were new to Vietnamese dishes we got ample of help and suggestions from the staffs. We placed our orders and a scrumptious dinner was served.

Soup : Stew Chicken with Fruits

Soup : Snow Fungus with Crab Meat soup. Yummiest soup ever and a must try

Yummy  Mango Milk Shake

Pineapple Fried Rice with Sea Food. Fried rice mixed with sea food like prawns and squids made it my fav. Well everything inside a pineapple just took fried rice to another level

Fried Rice with Skewed Grill Chicken. Delicious Fried rice with grilled chicken with a hint of lemon grass. The flower carving was a feast for my eyes

Crispy Golden Chicken Pumpkin. Deep fried boneless chicken and the essence of pumpkin added a sweetness to the dish

Angry Baby Birds. Such detailed carving made out of Carrot, eggs, chilly all joined together with tooth picks was amazing

The food was delicious and well presented. Especially the Angry baby birds, never wanted to eat them !!!
Service was great and staffs were courteous and prompt.

Lets Prepare : Bread Pakoras

hi lovelies.
Its afternoon time and I am hungry !!! So lets prepare BREAD PAKORAS

Bread Pakoras are a great appetizer or a tea time snack.

INGREDIENTS:
  • White Bread
  • 1 cup Gram Flour (Besan)
  • 1/2 cup Corn Flour
  • Salt
  • Cumin Powder
  • Garam Masala Powder (easily available in any Indian store)
  • Chaat Masala / Mango Powder (to give a flavour)
  • Water to mix the ingredients
  • Oil to fry
  • You can also add spinach or cilantro and green chillies to the batter. But I like it this way.
NOTE : amount of ingredients can vary according to the number of bread pakoras or size of bread.

METHOD
  • Take a bowl and add all the dry ingredients.
  • Mix well without adding water.
  • Then start adding water and mixing it to form a smooth Batter / Semi Liquid mixture.
  • Keep it aside for 2-3mins.
  • In the mean time remove all the four brown sides from the bread.
  • Slice the bread according to your choice. Length wise or Diagonally.
  • Now heat oil.
  • You can check if oil is hot or not by putting a drop of the batter in it. If the batter comes up, then oil is hot.
  • Dip the bread slices in the batter one at a time and slowly drop into the frying pan.
  • The pakoras will take about 4 to 5 minutes to cook.
  • Turn them occasionally. Fry the Pakoras until both sides are golden-brown.
  • Crispy, yummy Bread Pakoras are ready to serve.
  • Serve it with sauce or chutney.

The next time when you have a get together, do serve these yummy snacks to your guests and get praised !!!

Love
Appy

Me and my hubby were at The Mall last Friday and decided to have our fav PANDAN chicken. But to our disappointment it was over at the restaurant :(
So we were just strolling around and deciding on where to have dinner, when we came across a restaurant GARDEN CAFE.
It wasn't that big but kind of attractive n peaceful. We stepped in and ordered our menu of Sizzlers !!!

Sizzling Chicken Chop with Fried Rice

Sizzling Hot Seafood

The food was served piping hot and it was tasty.Indeed tasty. The right amount of spicy and flavoured.
We enjoyed our scrumptious dinner and headed back home with a happy stomach, thinking "yeah, we are definitely coming back !!!"

Hey guys.I just don't want to keep my blog confined to beauty/makeup stuffs.I want to include my other obsessions into it. So being a foodie what can be better to share my Food Exploration with you guys !!!
Me and my hubby both love to eat and try out new dishes. We have this tradition that ones a week (atleast), we go out for dinner and try something new. So I will be sharing my experiences with you guys.

4th July was our 2nd Marriage Anniversary and we went out for shopping and eating !!!
This time we went to Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen at Sunway Pyramid, Kuala Lumpur.

It had a wide range of menu of sea foods n chicken items and we chose CHICKEN.
I am always a fan of crunchy fried chicken. So we ordered CHICKEN COMBO meal and tried the new
DIP 'n CHICK ' n

OUR STUFFING

CHICKEN combo with MASHED POTATO and BISCUIT

DIP 'n CHICK ' n with MASHED POTATO and BISCUIT

MY VERDICT :
  • CHICKEN : very crunchy and well fried.
  • BISCUIT : Tasty and mushy. The STRAWBERRY JAM was very yummy and perfectly sweet(not overly sweet).A perfect match !!!
  • CORNS : asusual nothing special.
  • DIP 'n CHICK ' n : this was a nice side dish. Very crunchy tender chicken pieces with a very tasty dip.Very flavourful !!!
  • The star of the show was MASHED POTATO. It was very yummy. It was perfectly mashed without being sticky or hard. The gravy was so perfect. Not very heavy. I loved it alot.
  • Food was just great and very tasty.
  • Place was very neat and well maintained.

Its definitely a 'MUST VISIT' place for me n my hubby.Overall a very nice experience. We ate a lot and had to take a long walk to lighten the burden on our stomach !!!
