Today's post is a review of Makeup Revolution I Heart Makeup Blushing Hearts Triple Baked Blusher in PEACHY KEEN HEART.

PACKAGING, PRICE and AVAILABILITY

• This blusher comes in a HEART shaped cardboard box. Its quite bulky and hence not travel friendly at all. I feel the cardboard is kind of fragile and hence making the product inside prone to breakage.

SWATCH TIME

As you can see from the image above, this blusher beholds three shades of colors.

You can either use the 3shades separately or swirl all the shades together for a lovely PEACHY glow

VERDICT

• Gives a PEACHY GOLDEN glow.
• Its has sparkles, making the blusher shimmery and hence calling for a light hand application.
• Easily blendable
• Packaging is bulky so not travel friendly
• Prone to breakage

Over all I like this product as it serves my purpose of a peachy glowy skin. If you are looking for a SPECIAL OCCASION blusher then this is perfect for you. Its shimmery yet gives your skin that festive glow.

I am back after a short trip from Langkawi Islands and to my surprise I found a parcel. It was from Makeup Revolution Malaysia.
I have recently ordered Makeup Revolution I Heart Makeup Blushing Hearts. Seriously the packaging kind of sucked me into it. Moreover I love Makeup Revolution Products.
Today I will share my views about
Makeup Revolution I Heart Makeup Blushing Hearts Bronzer in SUMMER OF LOVE 

Its basically a Bronzer, but for my Medium skin tone, it acts ore like a highlghter.

Makeup Revolution I Heart Makeup Blushing Hearts Bronzers comes in two shades, SUMMER OF LOVE(GOLDEN) and HOT SUMMER OF LOVE(BRONZE)

I picked up the lightest shade SUMMER OF LOVE which gives a GOLDEN highlight to my skin. Its so subtle that I use to as a over all finishing powder for that glow all over my face.

VERDICT

• Gives a subtle golden highlight
• Easily blendable
• No chunky glitters, so gives a nice sheen to the face
• Can be used as over all finishing powder for that healthy glow
• Packaging is bulky so not travel friendly
• Prone to breakage

Over all I like this product as it serves my purpose of a glowing skin. If you are looking for a full on Bronzer then this is not for you, better get the HOT SUMMER OF LOVE.

Recently I got my hands on a beautiful baked blusher and I have been using it all through MAY.

• This beautiful blusher comes in a sturdy pan with transparent lid. It has a simple no hassle packaging.

SWATCH TIME

This is a lovely Coral Pink shade with Golden Microshimmers

Leaves your skin with a healthy glow with a flush of colour

VERDICT

• Perfect Blusher for Indian/ Medium Skin tone
• If you are a beginner and want to try a Blusher, go for it cause it gives a nice flush to your cheeks without being overdone.
• You can totally build the intensity of the colour.
• Fairly pigmented.
• Easily blendable
• Lovely glow to the face without being shimmery
• Cute packaging
• Affordable too

I recommend this blusher for anyone who wants a natural flush of colour and glow onto their cheeks.

Lovely PEACHY PINK shades with GOLDEN micro Shimmers which gives a beautiful glow to the cheeks

VERDICT

• Lovely Peachy Pink shade with Golden shimmer in it.
• Shimmers aren't overly chunky.Its subtle gold shimmers.Best for spring/summer.
• Gives a nice glow to the cheeks.
• Smooth texture so easily blendable.
• Awesome pigmentation
• Stay on for a good 4hours on my skin.
• Affordable
• Said to be the dupe for NARS Orgasm blush.

If you love Nice subtle blush with a bit of glitzy glam, go for it. Trust me you going to love it.
It's a YES for me :)

Wet 'n' Wild Color Icon Blush in Pearlescent Pink Review

• The packaging is simple no fuss compact with a transparent lid with the name of the shade on it.
• Its not quite sturdy I would say. But hey, for the price you are paying its great.
• It retails for RM 24.90 at almost all SASA counters. Steal Steal !!! Sadly, its not yet available in India but you can order it from LUXOLA

SWATCH TIME

  Pearlescent Pink is a beautiful Peachy Pink with subtle Gold shimmers. It gives your cheeks a healthy glow.


MY VERDICT 

• Lovely Peachy Pink shade with Golden shimmer in it.
• Works as a BLUSH cum HIGHLIGHTER
• Shimmers aren't overly chunky.Its subtle gold shimmers.
• Gives a nice glow to the cheeks.
• Said to be a dupe of NARS orgasm.But I don't own it so cant say how close the similarities are !!
• Awesome pigmentation
• Stay on for a good 4hours on my skin.
• Affordable
• Only Nah for me is the flimsy packaging.

If you love Nice subtle blush with a bit of glitzy glam, go for it. Trust me you gonna love it.
It's a YES for me :)

Wet 'n' Wild Mega glo Illuminating Powder in CATWALK PINK Review

Hey beauties...Welcome to a Raving Monday post. It was a long festive weekend here in Kuala Lumpur because it was the CHINESE NEW YEAR (Gong Ci Fa Cai to all my Chinese friends).

I have an amazingly exciting news for Makeup addicts in Malaysia. Wet 'n' Wild is finally here in Malaysia. AAAaaaaa I am screaming too :)

While passing by the Sasa store my eyes almost poped out (literally). I saw an asile full of Wet n Wild cosmetics. Woo Hoo !!! While I was on a month trip to India, Malaysia had welcomed Wet n Wild cosmetics. What an awesome surprise for me. I was always gravitated towards this brand by seeing beauty gurus rave about it on youtube.
When I step into the store most of the products were out of stock as expected. But to my luck they had a single piece of Wet 'n' Wild Mega glo Illuminating Powder in CATWALK PINK which I was eyeing from over 2months now. 

  PRICE, PACKAGING AND AVAILABILITY

• It retails for RM 25.90 which is cheaper than Revlon and many other drugstore brands.
• It comes in a metal pan container with a screw on see through lid. It's compact and sturdy.
• It's available at all Sasa stores here in Malaysia. It's available at Luxola here

SWATCH TIME

 The Illuminating Powder in CATWALK PINK is a combination of 4shades i.e. a shimmery champagne shade, a shimmery pale Pink shade, a matte dusty rose shade and a shimmery Bronze shade.

MY VERDICT

• The Illuminating powder comes in four shades and these shades together gives an amazing rosy glow onto your cheeks.
• Shimmers are neither chunky nor glittery. These gives a natural glow and sheen to the skin.
• Smooth texture
• Blendable 
• No mess on the pan or no fall outs. I hate powder products which are messy
• Affordable
• Though it's always out of stock, still can try and find online. Trust me girls the hunt is totally worth it. 

It's a must have for me now. It goes hand in hand with my theBalm luminizer in Mary-Lou manizer, which is my all time favourite illuminator. See review here

The wet n wild illuminator suits all skin tones and gives a gorgeous glow.

If you love bronzers and love that natural glow on to your skin with a product which is of great quality and affordable then Wet 'n' Wild Mega glo Illuminating Powder is just perfect for you.

MUA The Artiste Collection Palette : Swatches and Review

hey beauties...I am a fan of MUA eyeshadows. I have been using MUA Glamour Nights Palette from quite a long time now and I fall for it more n more. See my review here
Recently I hauled a few items from Jabong.com and in that I bought the Artiste Collection Palette from MUA.

The palette is sleek and sturdy, identical to the rest of MUA palettes, except the pans are rectangular. The eye shadows are engraved with a marble effect

The back of the palette shows the eyeshadows and face products with names. As a beauty blogger I am a fan of products with names. Its so much easy to refer

This "Multi-Use Palette" comes with six marbled eye shadows, two blushers, a highlighter and a bronzer

SWATCH TIME

EYESHADOW

PISTACHIO : is a lovely light aqua shade.It has a frosty finish and the pigmentation is good with a primer. This looks absolutely stunning in the inner corners of the eye.
MOCHA is my favorite highlighter shade for browbone/inner corner. I see it as an ideal entire lid shade as well.
ICE is a pretty Icy blue shade.Buttery soft Frosty finish
GRAPE is a lovely well Grape shade (Dark Purple) with a shiny effect.

EYESHADOW

CHOCOLATE  is a lovely peachy brown shade.It has a frosty finish and the pigmentation is not as dark as it looks in the pan
COOKIE is the only Matte Brown shade which I see using to define the crease

PINK SPARKLE is almost matte lovely Pink blusher
while PRIMROSE is more on to Peach side.
BRONZED is an awesome contour shade
SHIMMER KISS is a lovely highlight that gives a natural glow

FIRST IMPRESSION

• Nice sleek travel friendly packaging.
• Has a complete collection of eyeshadow, blusher, bronzer and highlighter. Again great for travel
• Very versatile shades. Can be used to create night look, natural look as well as colorful look
• Good pigmentation and texture
• I got it without any shipping charges so its another plus for me :)

Overall a steal for me. I am going to use this palette for many of my future looks for sure.So keep an eye on my blog :)

MUA Blush Perfection Cream Blusher in LUSH

This review was pending from quite a long time and ahh finally mom Appy gets her time today.
I am a sucker for bright blushes. Recently while going through my makeup stash I came across this very pretty MUA cream blusher and fell in love with it again. I have been using it almost everyday.
 Its MUA Blush Perfection Cream Blusher in LUSH.

• These blushes comes in a compact plastic packaging with a clear front which flip opens.

SWATCH TIME

This shade Lush is a beautiful bright Pink shade. Though it looks quite bright, it blends in to a subtle Pink which gives a pretty summer glow on the cheeks.

• Lush is a beautiful bright Pink shade apt for summers.
• The packaging is compact and travel friendly
• Creamy texture.
• Blends perfectly
• Very well pigmented
• Stays on for 3-4hrs and comes off as glowy wash of color on the cheeks.
• Affordable
