Orange Lipsticks for Indian Skin Tone

Summers call for bright colours. Bright Pinks, Neons, Oranges !!! Being a lipstick addict, I like to in corporate bright shades of lip color. But wearing a Orange shade of lipstick can be a bit tricky. It can totally make or break your entire look.
For my Indian skin tone (Medium Wheatish), it was really hard to get that perfect Orange shade and after many hit and trials, finally I present to you my top 3 Orange Lipsticks for Indian Skin tone.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in KISS ME CORAL

If this is the first time you trying out Orange shade of lipsticks, then go for this. Its a subtle Orange with a hint of red. More like a bright coral shade. The formula of this range of lipstick is very creamy and last for a long time. It gives full coverage for pigmented lips too.

Colorbar Velvet Matte Lipstcik in OBSESSED ORANGE

If you are confident enough and want to wear a bright ORANGE shade, then go for it girl. Its matte, yet don't dry out your lips. It has a great stay on power and pigmentation. But always exfoliate and moisturise your lips before applying this, it will show your flakes.

Nyx Matte Lipstick in INDIE FLICK

OMG !!! Bright Redish Orange. This is a very bold ORANGE shade. With this lip color on, you dont need any eye makeup. Just some mascara and you are good to go. Love it

Color Series : Colourful Purple Eye Makeup Look for Spring/ Summer

hey beauties... It's time for another pictorial.
Today's look is a very pretty Purplish Pink look. Its gorgeous yet simple and subtle...

Its quite easy and hassle-free. So lets have a look on how to achieve this look...
I have used my Urban Decay VICE 2 palette to achieve this look.

After priming your eye lids, start up by applying a CHAMPAGNE/ BEIGE shade all over the eye lid.

Next define the crease with a  DARK PINK shade

Next apply a SHIMMERY PURPLE shade all over the lid, staying within the crease

Take a CHARCOAL shade and apply it on to the Outer V blending it along the crease

Take a blending brush and grab some BRIGHT PINK shade. Blend it along the crease with the CHARCOAL shade.

Line the lower lash line with a SHIMMERY DARK BLUE shade

Line the upper lash and water line with a BLACK liner and apply coats of mascara and your eyes are done

Team this look with PINK blush and ROSY lips

Color Series : Using Colours in Everyday/ Work Make up Look

Colors can be a little intimidating. When we think about an everyday or work apt look, we hardly think of any colors. But spring/ summer is all about colours and here is how you can in corporate a little colour to your everyday makeup look without being over done.

• Start up the eye makeup by priming your eye lids,
• Next take a CHAMPAGNE shade and apply it all over the lid.
• Now define the crease using a MATTE DARK BROWN shade. Easy ain't it !!!
• Now its time for some fun. Grab a fluffy crease brush and take some PURPLE shade on to it. Place the purple on the outer V of the eye lid, blending it along the crease. BLEND, thats the key.

• PURPLE gives such a beautiful pop without over doing the eye look. I call PURPLE as THE NEUTRAL AMONG COLOURS !!!
• Line the Upper lash line and Waterline with a BLACK liner
• Finish up the eyes with coats of mascara.
• Keep the rest of the face subtle. PEACH blush and PINKISH lips.
