Leaves your skin with a healthy glow with a flush of colour

VERDICT

• Perfect Blusher for Indian/ Medium Skin tone
• If you are a beginner and want to try a Blusher, go for it cause it gives a nice flush to your cheeks without being overdone.
• You can totally build the intensity of the colour.
• Fairly pigmented.
• Easily blendable
• Lovely glow to the face without being shimmery
• Cute packaging
• Affordable too

I recommend this blusher for anyone who wants a natural flush of colour and glow onto their cheeks.

Product of the Month : October

Long Time No See...Well blame my busy schedule.Taking care of an infant is no joke guys seriously. But I am happy that I finally got sometime to give love to my blog.
I am here today with my current favorite product. My savior. Its a tiny lipstick. Well you might have already guessed that I am always out of time and when in a hurry to head out of the house, this one product changes my look. Its Nyx Round Lipstick in LOUISIANA.

PACKAGING, PRICE and AVAILABILITY

• It has quite a decent packaging.
• It looks chic and wont take a lot of space while organizing.
• The transparent bottom ,where you can actually see the shade, is something I love. Cause if you are a lipstick stalker like me then its easy for you to chose what color you need from your huge collection.
• These lipsticks are available locally for RM 19 at Sephora. But there are websites which sell them for much cheap prices.

SWATCH TIME

Its a creamy Pink shade, that brightens up my look instantly. I can go without any makeup and just this lipcolor.

MY VERDICT

• Nyx round lipsticks have a wide range of colors that you can choose from. Nudes to Pinks to Reds. 
• It is very creamy. So, it glides on smoothly on the lips. 
• The texture is quite moisturising. But still always apply a lip balm before applying any lip product.
• Great pigmentation. It gives an opaque finish, even for lighter shades.
• Its quite affordable and easily available at store and online.
• It has got a huge literally hundreds of shades which is a wow factor. 
• The finish is awesome. They're so pigmented, opaque, and long lasting. What else you can ask from a lipstick :)

Product of the Month : June - Nyx Eyeshadow Base in Skin Tone

Its bye bye June time !!! Monsoon is slowly entering my home town in India. The weather is changing from Too hot to kind of Cool. I am quite liking it. Anyways before we enter the showers of July lets see what June has given me.
Yes, so the product of the Month for June goes to "NYX EYESHADOW BASE in SKIN TONE"

 Well I own this product from quite a long time now. If you are a reader of my blog, you must be aware that I do a lot of makeup looks. Apart from that I also wear eye makeup in real life. From vibrant to neutral, I love experimenting with different looks. And when you use eyeshadows, a must have for you is a good base to hold and bring out the shades. You must be thinking, if she has been using the Nyx base from quite a long time, then why all of a sudden talking about it today. Well recently I had severe hormone changes which made a lot of physical change in me, including making my eye lids super duper oily. Yes, all my life I had a combination skin but a normal eyelid, but now my eye lids are oily. I used other eye bases like Elianto eye base but my eye makeup just creased like hell. I felt as if my eyeshadows just slipped off. But one thing that saved me was NYX EYESHADOW BASE. It just adhered my eye shadows all day without a slightest creasing.

• Comes in three shades, White, Skin tone and Pearl. I own Skin Tone
• It comes in a transparent pot with a white lid.
• It can be a bit bulky but I dont mind.
• It retails at all Nyx Counters. I got mine from Sephora, Kuala Lumpur. (I miss Sephora !!) for rm 20 something

MY VERDICT

• An awesome base for my oily eyelids.
• Holds the eyeshadow very well and stays on all day.
• No creasing, no rubbing off of the shade till you remove it.
• Texture is creamy 
• Blends easily.
• The skin tone shade evens out of eyelid.
• Makes the eyeshadow more vibrant.
• One pot lasts forever. So true to the price paid.

Its a perfect eye base for me which makes my eyeshadows pop, vibrant and last forever.

Product of the Month : May - Maybelline Color Sensational Jewels Lipstick in BERRY BRILLIANT

I was really excited to welcome May. Coz its my bday month :) Yay !!! I mean who doesnt love his/her bday ???But this month turned out to be a crazy month for me.

I am now in India. Happy that I am with my parents and my sis, but sad that I am away from my darling hubby :( I was so busy this month, phewww thank god its over !!!

Well before moving on, its time for the Product of the Month for May.

Its a lipstick this month. A lipstick I have been using like crazy this month. Its Maybelline Color Sensational Jewels Lipstick in BERRY BRILLIANT

I have been using this all through May. May was quite hot and humid here in India and I had to do loads of  outdoor trips. In this hot weather, I wanted a non fussy makeup which is minimal yet pretty. While outside I usually dont wear any eye makeup, just liner and mascara. And a bright lipstick added some color to my face. So I reached for this lovely Berry shade most of the time. Almost all the time. As the name suggests, Maybelline Color Sensational Jewels Lipstick is inspired from Jewels. It gives a nice illuminating effect on lips after application.

• Pretty Pink packaging with a rainbow like effect. Cute <3
• Packaging is quite bulky like any other Maybelline Color Sensational Lipsticks. But I dont mind at all.
• Its available in almost all drugstores and maybelline counters and retails for rm 29.90

MY VERDICT

• Very Pigmented
• Might look scary in the packaging, but sheers out a bit on application. However the intensity can be added up or toned down by coating the product.
• Moisturising
• Creamy Texture
• Smooth application
• Pleasant smell
• Lasted for 5-6hours and then left a subtle tint.
• Glossy finish
• Easily available
• Affordable

Product of the Month : November

hey beauties.Are you excited to welcome December??? Yay finally Christmas is coming. Its so festive all around. I am really pumped up these days.
But before biding goodbye to November, its time for the Product of the Month. So,November's Product of the Month Award goes to..... MAYBELLINE ANGELFIT PERFECT CONCEALER.

Shade 02 NATURAL BEIGE

I got this concealer a long time ago but never reached for it so much, But last month when I went to India, I really had lots of sleepless nights and my dark circles were obvious :( So I applied this amazing concealer and trust me guys it not only helped me with the dark circles but also brightened up my eyes. I am so much in love with it and have been using it all through October and November. I use it to conceal my dark circles only.

HOW I APPLY
I use the shade 02 NATURAL BEIGE
I apply three to four dots around my eyes and blend it with my fingers. I pat my fingers and blend it.

MY VERDICT

• Eyes instantly brightens up and dark circles are concealed naturally.
• Nice creamy texture is easy to apply and blends on easily.
• Sleek packaging is easy to travel with
• A little goes a long way. I use 3 to 4 small dots on both eyes and I am good to go.
• Doesn't cake.
• No Drying effect.
• It doesn’t settle on fine lines on my under eye when blended well. 
• It is lightweight. It looks very natural on my skin. 
• This lasts 5- 6 hours on me.
• I find it affordable. Around rm 20.
• It is available locally. Maybelline counters are in almost all drugstore stores.
• It gives nice coverage on my dark under eye. It gives light to medium coverage that looks very natural.
• The only downside is its available in only two shades :( But thankfully I got my perfect shade.

Product of the Month : SEPTEMBER

hey beauties !!! I hope you all had a lovely September. It was a great month for me as it was my hubby's bday month and we enjoyed alot.

Ok, So September's Product of the Month award goes to ......... Beauty Style Eyeshadow in PEWTER

This eyeshadow was a gift from my lovely friend Lilian. Who sent me over some lovely goodies all the way from Australia. See them here

I got this eyeshadow since a long time. But this month I kind of started using it a lot more. I wore it as an entire eyelid color, as a crease color, as a eye liner. I have wore it most of the time. It was always included in  my everyday look.

The best thing I love about this shadow is its texture. Its neither Matte nor overly shimmery. Its right in between. So it can be used in perfectly for a Day as well as Night look.

My Verdict

• A perfect GREY shade. 
• Is very versatile. Can be applied as an all over lid color or to smoke out a look or as an eye liner.
• Very pigmented.
• Blend in easily.
• Texture is great. Neither matte nor shimmery.
• Perfect for Day as well as Night look.
• Great stay on power.
• No Fall-out.

I am in love with this eyeshadow and going to rock it more !!!

hey beauties !!! Its bye-bye August time and the time when I talk about my favourite products of the month. But from this month onwards, I have thought of picking one or a few more products which I have been using religiously and talking a bit more about them. In this way I can help you in knowing what is good in the market and a short review will help you with a little more information about it.

So August Product of the Month award goes to .............. Silkygirl Moisture Smooth Lipstick in HOT FUCHSIA. It is one lipstick which I have been wearing almost every single day.

VERDICT TIME

• I love the packaging. Its small and easy to carry.Unlike other Silkygirl lipsticks, the cap is a click one so it dont open when inside purse.
• As the name suggest, its very very moisturising and smooth.
• Feels like a lipbalm/lip butter.
• It has a decent stay on powder but is transferable means if your drink a coffee the color gets transfer to the cup.
• But what I do is, I reapply it instead of a lip balm. 
• It moisturises my lips and gives a tint of color.
• Its a perfect Pink which can go with your day as well as night look.
• Price - RM 9.something at Guardian. If you are interested grab it asap coz its a "offer valid till stock exists" kind of a deal.
