Coloressence Lip Liner Pencil in BRICK RED

hey beauties...after raving about lipcolors and blushes from Coloressence, today its time for their lip liner pencil. Well I am not quite happy with it. Read on to find out why !!
I purchased Coloressence Lip Liner Pencil in shade BRICK RED. 

PACKAGING,PRICE and AVAILABILITY

•  It comes in retractable pencil form which can be opened by twisting it. Its quite cheap looking. Nevermind, its travel friendly
• I bought it for rs145 from Jabong.com

SWATCH TIME

Its not a RED, rather a brownish shade with sheer red hint in it. Its quite wearable

VERDICT

• Its quite wearable shade.
• Affordable
• Packaging is cheap looking, the casing is not sturdy at all. But travel friendly
• Now coming to the formulation, its very drying on lips. Even by applying a lip balm, still it felt as if I am using for rough pencil on lips. It literally hurts.
• Texture ain't smooth at all.
•  Its quite fragile, I kind of broke it a few times.
• Though I love the shade alot, I can hardly wear it because of the worst texture.

Before wrapping up, I would say I am a big fan of coloressence products, but this lip liner didnt at all worked for me. From the packaging to the formulation, everything was a turn off for me. I would not buy any lip liners from coloressence nor will recommend this to anyone.

Its a thumb down purchase for me :(

Maybelline Color Tattoo in POMEGRANATE PUNK

hey beauties... A few days back while I was browsing Jabong.com to get some items for my baby, I thought to change a bit from MOM mode to BEAUTY ADDICT mode and treated myself with a small makeup shopping spree. I got couple of items from Lakme and Maybelline. Today I want to share with you some swatches of Maybelline color Tattoo in POMEGRANATE PUNK.

I owned only one color tattoo i.e. BOLD GOLD (See swatch here) which I got from KL. I wanted to buy more of these coz I totally loved it. When I saw them at Jabong, I totally grabbed it.

PACKAGING,PRICE and AVAILABILITY

• The Color Tattoos comes in small cute rounded glass pot type packaging that has sturdy plastic screw. The transparent glass pot makes it easy to identify the shades. 
• About the price, in KL its rm 19.9 and in India its rs 350
• Availability : In KL i got it from Caring Pharmacies. In India I got it from Jabong.com

SWATCH TIME

The shade Pomegranate Punk is an Pinkish Brugundy cream eye shadow with fine shimmers in it.You can darken the shade as per your requirement by reapplying all over the eyes.

VERDICT

• A very rich Pinkish Burgundy shade that looks great on the eyelids
• Creamy texture
• Can be used on its own or as an eyeshadow base
• Blendable. But it should be blended before it dries up, coz ones it dries up it stays on
• Non patchy on eyelid
• Stays on and on and on
• Water proof yet comes off easily with eye makeup remover
• Affordable dupes for MAC paint pots

I am totally in love with these Maybelline Color Tattoos. I have got another shade but you need to tune in to my blog for finding out which shade it is. Will disclose it soon, till then stay gorgeous coz you totally worth it...

Coloressence Mesmerising Lip Color in BURNING DESIRE

As mentioned in my previous post here, I got two lippies from Coloressence as a token of thanks.
I have reviewed Coloressence Mesmerising Lipcolor here

 I have already posted some swatches of the first one i.e. RUBY RUST here and now its time for swatching the other one i.e. BURNING DESIRE.

As the name suggests, its a pretty PINKISH RED shade, that will suit almost all skin tones. Its not over the top red, so people who have a phobia for red lipstick can also try this one.

It has a MATTE finish. This was a bit drying for me. Its affordable. rs 150/- and easily available.
