Maybelline Baby Lips Candy Wow Lipbalm in Raspberry Review

Hey beauties…How are you all doing ?? I have been gone for ever. And finally back with a new post about a new winter release.

Winters are quite harsh here in India. Though I have a combination to oily facial skin, my body and lips tends to be super dry in winters. For a lipstick addict like me, chapped lips are a big NO NO. And so lipbalms are my bffs….

Maybelline has this awesome and most popular range of lipbalms called BABY LIPS. I am sure we all know about it and love it to eternity. Recently Maybelline has launched an extension, well a pretty wow extension, to their usual baby lips range called BABY LIPS CANDY WOW !!!

PACKAGING AND PRICE

·         This wow product comes in a crayon pen/ chubby stick form.

·         It has a rotating end which brings the product out.

·         I just love how bright and funky the packaging is.

·         This retails for Rs 275.

SHADE

The Baby lips Candy wow lip balms comes in 5wow shades. Raspberry, Mixed Berry, Orange, Cherry and Peach. I have it in the shade RASPBERRY. It’s a beautiful berry shade. A perfect everyday shade which is nonsticky and super moisturising.

MY VERDICT

·         Convenient Crayon style packaging with funky outer cover.

·         Decent colour pay off.

·         Stays on for good 5 to 6hours.

·         Very moisturising and hydrating for chapped lips.

·         Smooth application.

·         Non sticky.

·         Gives a shinny satin finish.

·         No taste but sheer smell of candy.

·         Pretty good pigmentation. So can be wore on its own or below any lip product.

I just love the MAYBELLINE BABY LIPS CANDY WOW lip balm and looking forward to get more shades. I recommend this to everyone who is struggling with dry lips and anyone who loves moisturising lips with some colour.
