Makeup Revolution Redemption Iconic 3 Eyeshadow Palette Review and Swatch

hey beauties..This post is a first impression cum swatches post for Makeup Revolution Redemption Iconic 3 Eyeshadow Palette

 

 

PACKAGING, PRICE and AVAILABILITY

 

 

Iconic 3 is a neutral palette with different shades of Bronze, Rose gold, Pink and Plums.

• Iconic 3 palette has 12 shades of eyeshadows of both shimmery and matte finish. It has a transparent lid and comes with a double ended sponge applicator.
• I got mine for Rs 960 from Jabong.com here. You can also buy it for RM 32 from Makeup Revolution Malaysia website here

SWATCH TIME

P.S. as this palette has no name for the shades, lets name them as below so that it would be easy to know the swatches...

 

S1 : MATTE Pinkish beige shade suitable for the browbone on even as a lid color

S2 : SHIMMERY Pink shade apt for all over lid or highlighting inner corner of the eyes

 

S3 : A Nude shade with Pink undertones which gives a nice SHEEN onto the eyelid.

S4 : A very pretty MATTE Dusty Rose shade.

 

S5 : Lovely SHIMMERY Rose Gold shade

S6 : SHIMMERY Copper shade

These two shades will go very well for some festive look

 

S7 : A very MATTE Taupe shade apt for smokey looks.

S8 : A METALLIC Taupe shade.

These two shades can be used together to create a lovely night time smokey eyes.

 

S9 : A SHIMMERY Chocolate Brown shade

S10 : A SHIMMERY Dark Taupe shade apt for entire lid or even to smoke out any look

 

S11 : Its a very Intense Dark Taupe with Red tones to it

S12 : Its a Dark SHIMMERY Plum shade.

FIRST IMPRESSION

• As you can see the shades are from similar color family but they are of different texture and undertones and finish. That makes each shade UNIQUE.
• Blendable
• Quite good texture
• Very pigmented
• Affordable

Wet 'n' Wild Color Icon Blush in Pearlescent Pink Review

hey beauties.... Here's Appy again with another Wet 'n' Wild rave !!! I have already posted about Wet n Wild  Mega glo Illuminating Powder in Catwalk Pink here and Wet n Wild Mega Last Matte Lipstick in Sugar Plum Fairy here.
Well I told you there's more Wet 'n' Wild coming up. Today its Wet 'n' Wild Color Icon Blush in Pearlescent Pink

PACKAGING, PRICE and AVAILABILITY

• The packaging is simple no fuss compact with a transparent lid with the name of the shade on it.
• Its not quite sturdy I would say. But hey, for the price you are paying its great.
• It retails for RM 24.90 at almost all SASA counters. Steal Steal !!! Sadly, its not yet available in India but you can order it from LUXOLA

SWATCH TIME

  Pearlescent Pink is a beautiful Peachy Pink with subtle Gold shimmers. It gives your cheeks a healthy glow.


MY VERDICT 

• Lovely Peachy Pink shade with Golden shimmer in it.
• Works as a BLUSH cum HIGHLIGHTER
• Shimmers aren't overly chunky.Its subtle gold shimmers.
• Gives a nice glow to the cheeks.
• Said to be a dupe of NARS orgasm.But I don't own it so cant say how close the similarities are !!
• Awesome pigmentation
• Stay on for a good 4hours on my skin.
• Affordable
• Only Nah for me is the flimsy packaging.

If you love Nice subtle blush with a bit of glitzy glam, go for it. Trust me you gonna love it.
It's a YES for me :)
