Haul Time : Elianto

hey guys,
This weekend I and my hubby went to the mall.There I stopped by the Elianto Counter and picked 2eyeshadows for me :)

After filling my first shadow palette,

 I am on the go for my second Elianto Pallete.

Face of the Day : Evian Blue

This saturday I was really getting an urge to go shopping.So I got ready and went to the mall with my hubby and bought few stuffs.I will haul the things i bought in the next blog post.Here I want to show you guys my make up look.

In this look, the blue color I have used is EVIAN BLUE from Elianto.Its a very pretty blue color and I totally love it :)

A Trip to My Home Town : Bhubaneswar :)

I have been on a 15days tiny trip to my home town, Bhubaneswar.Its my birth place and I have spend all my life there.I have my parents and all relatives in Bhubaneswar.This was for the first time me and my hubby went to my home town together after marriage.My family welcomed us whole heartedly and we had a loads of fun there.

Adele's Grammy Makeup Look

I was just going through some pictures from The Grammy Award show, when I came across Adele's Picture.

She was looking amazing and gorgeous.Her makeup look was just awesome.Moreover this look is so much my kind.Red Lips with kind of smokey eyes.

So I recreated the look using my Silkygirl Limited Edition Palette.

For EYES

• Primed my eyes with Elianto Eyeshadow Primer

• Then took out my Silkygirl Limited Edition Palette in  DOWN TO EARTH 

• I took the dark brown shade and applied it in the crease and outer V.This gave my eyes a nice depth.

• Next I took the shimmery silver color and applied it just above the crease and on the outter V and blended it well with the brown.This gave a nice shimmer to the brown.

• I applied a light metallic silver from Maybelline quad in Gray Pink and applied it all over my lid.

• I blended all the color and then to finish the look I applied some eyeliner and mascara.

For LIPS

• Well I love love love RED LIPS.

For this pretty Red Lips, I used my favorite lipstick from Revlon.

LOVE THAT RED

For CHEEKS, I applied a pink blush from Silkygirl.

This look is extremely gorgeous and wearable as well.So do you love Red Lips????

My Take Time : Matrix Biolage Smoothing Serum Review

Unruly, messy, frizzy !!! these are the few terms that well describe the texture of my hairs :P
Yaa I am not blessed with silky smooth hairs :( So I constantly hunt for hair serums which can help me manage my crazy babies.An year ago, my hair stylist introduced me to this new hair care brand called MATRIX.This brand beholds an amazing range of products that serves different types of purpose.I was drawn towards the BIOLAGE catagory as its a mixture of science and nature. 
My hair stylist recommended the Smoothing Serum for me.

What It Claims
Biolage Smoothing serum smoothes dry, frizzy, and unruly hair. A fusion of taming polymers and avocado and grape seed oils gently envelopes hair to control frizz and seal in smoothness without weight. Hair stays shiny, nourished, and manageable all day.


My Verdict
After using it for over 1year, I can say......

• It helps me manage my frizzy hairs.
• It smooths out my hair after every use and gives a shine to it.
• It is indeed a no knots no tangle product.It detangles my hair and so reduces hairfall while combing or styling.
• It is decently priced for a serum.
• Pleasant smell.
• I use it on damp hair and it work great.But it makes hair bit oily when applied on dry hair.But thats ok for me cause I prefer using serums on wet hair.

It is definitely a CATCH IT for me.And I am not going to repurchase it cause I have already repurchased it and stocked it :D :D

My Current Obsessions : Jan/Feb Favourites

It was just like yesterday I penned down my 2011 favourites and tonight I am here writing about my Jan/Feb Favourites.Time just Flies :)

Well I have been using alot of products from which almost all I have mentioned in my earlier post.So without killing much time, I thought of only adding the products which I have started using from January.

As I have mentioned earlier, I had been to India for 10days and during my stay there I had some horrible breakouts due to the humidity and my crazy eating ;) So in order to clear my skin and reduce acnes I bought this awesome face pack made out of tea tree....And it did helped :)

Frizzy hair.Oh what a mess !!! thats how my hair is :( So I keep on trying new hair serums all the time.My all time favourite Serum is Matrix Smoothing Serum.But recently I met this lovely beauty mentioned below.And I love it.It doesnot take the place of my Matrix serum, but it is good as well.
