My Take Time: Coloressence Mesmerising Lip Color in BRICK RED

Now that I am in India, I have been using a few Indian brands. And when it comes trying new brands, I always try their lipsticks first. This may be because I am a crazy lipstick addict....
Today I will be sharing my views on Coloressense Lipstick.
This is a perfect time of the year to wear Coloressense Lipsticks, coz they are Matte and summers are best to wear Matte Lipsticks.
While going through the lipstick stacks, I loved this shade no. 67 BRICK RED
Its a pretty Orangy Red shade and as I said earlier its Matte.

• Coloressense Lipsticks comes with a Black packaging with a transparent/clear base which gives an actual glimpse of the shade.
• Its available at all Coloressense counters and retails at Rs 125

SWATCH TIME

VERDICT

• It has a MATTE finish.
• I have read many posts that its drying on lips, but for me it wasn't so drying. May be because I applied it on top of a lip balm.
• Mild herbal scent
• Very well pigmented
• Staying power isn't that great. Stays on for 3-4hours but wipes out as soon as you eat/ drink something.
• Affordable
• Its vegetarian and contains some herbal things. If that makes a difference for you.

Well I will definitely love to try other shades, but first I would try other brands and then will come back to coloressence.

Summer Series : Summer Bronzed Eyes with a Pop

hey lovelies...
Today's look is a Bronzed makeup look with a pop up. So with a basic bronzed eye, I applied a BLUE eyeliner. You can use pretty much any shade of liner / even a bright lips to give a pop up to the basic bronze eye.
So have a look.....

• Prime your eyes.
• Apply a layer of Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil in BRONZE to create a base.
• Apply a BRONZE shade all over the lid.
• Next take a DARK BROWN shade and apply it in the outer V and blend it along the crease.
• Now take a highlight shade and apply it on the inner corner and extend it to the inner part of lower lash line.
• For the pop, take any POP UP color eye liner and line the lower lash line.

• Apply few coats of mascara and your gorgeous summery look is done...
• Team this look with a PEACH blush and NUDE/PEACH lips.

Summer Series : Bare Classics and Brick Red

hey beauties...Today's look is a pretty basic everyday neutral eye with a pretty bright lips. I used my Silkygirl Block buster Palette in BARE CLASSICS (See Review here ) and for lips I used my Coloressense Lipstick in BRICK RED.

• Prime your eye lids. I used Nyx Eyeshadow base in Skin Tone.

• Take a SOFT BROWN and define your crease.
• Now take a DARK BROWN and apply it to the outer V and blend it along the crease. Blend it with the SOFT BROWN. Take some more DARK BROWN for the outer V if you want the look to be more smokey.
• For the lid, take a BEIGE shade. Drag this shade to the inner half of the lower lash line.
• Apply the DARK BROWN shade to the outer half of the lower lash line.
• Line the upper lash line and water line with a BLACK liner.
• Apply coats of mascara and your eyes are done.
• Team this look with a BRONZED cheeks.
• For lips, moisturise your lips first.

• Take your fav RED/CORAL lipstick and apply it to your lips. I have choosen an ORANGY RED i.e. Coloressense Lipstick in BRICK RED. 
• This completes the look

Its apt for everyday wear. You can apply it for any casual outing like shopping, or running some errands or going to watch some movie....
